Just Right

The little human girl had taught them much.
That hat was too scratchy, but this hat was just right. That tree was too big, but this tree was just right. Those presents were too heavy, but these presents were just right. Soon enough, the bears loaded their paws with whatever they could carry and whatever suited their tastes. Baby Bear was especially excited for the new matching hat and scarf.
Papa Bear took one last look around the house they’d gone into and shrugged. He had learned from the best.
“Thank you, Goldilocks,” said Papa Bear. “You’re a good teacher.”
