The Santa Snare
A (Slightly-Inappropriate) 100-Word Short Story

Santa had encountered many traps over the years. Set by skeptical children just reaching that age where wonder and rationality meet, he’d found them all quite simple to avoid. Tripwires, rattling cans, live animals, even snares ready to snatch him as he reached for the cookies. Bless their hearts, he was ready.
What he was not prepared for, however, was a hologram house that disappeared so a fire hose could blast him with frigid water and leave him standing solid stiff, the whole incident captured on live-streaming video across the world.
That, unfortunately, he was not prepared for at all.
